Welcome to Darlington Primary School
Darlington Primary School aims to create a community where everyone is welcome. We achieve this through working in close partnership with families and the community to create opportunities for our students to develop the skills necessary for them to succeed in life.
Our values of love, courage, cooperation, responsibility, confidence and creativity are reflected in our curriculum delivery. Further, our development programs encompass well-being and restorative practices, 'better buddies', living skills, loss and grief and jump start programs. These are run in conjunction with the school counsellor and Christian pastoral support worker.
Darlington Kindergarten and Primary form a K-7 Campus in close proximity to Seaview High. We promote high academic standards focussing on literacy and numeracy. We also have a range of supportive transition programs and programs supportive of Non English Speaking Background (NESB) and special needs learners.
Spanish, music (including instrumental and choir) and circus skills enrich our K-7 curriculum, as does our healthy school focus incorporating sports, a community garden and environmental studies.
